NYT: Cowboy-spil

We have added new little games to Cowboytown that you can play together or individually. In addition to Søløvens Sæbebobler - where you can blow soap bubbles over Søløven - in 2024 we are also adding the following Cowboy games/experiences to the area:

Svend the Kid: 2-5 participants
Rules: It is about hitting the suspended ball. Each participant throws three balls in turn. The first contestant starts behind the line closest to Svend the Kid. When you hit the suspended ball, you must move one line backwards. The first to hit the suspended ball from the back line has won. Only underhand throws are allowed.

Return the balls to the frame after use. You can pick up extra balls in Cowboy Shoppen.

History: The game was invented by Svend Svingarm and Hugo Hestepäre, who ate cherries on a sunny morning and threw cherry stones at a target after a cowboy hat with greater and greater distance. Svend Svingarm won, which is why the game was named after him.

Hestepære-ringen: 2-10 participants
Rules: Take the ring in one hand, throw it and try to get it on the hook. You can possibly compete against your friends or family. It's not easy, but Hugo Hestepære managed it as the first.

History: The game is named after Hugo Hestepære, because it was he who invented it. It was late in the evening when Hannibal Hankat and Hugo Hestepære sat and enjoyed themselves by throwing candy at a hook - and that is why it is now called the Hestepære-ringen.

Western Duellen: 2 participants
Rules: Each participant has two frames with BonBon animals and stands behind his frames. All the BonBon animals are upright so you can see them. Each contestant thinks of one particular of their BonBon animals, and the opponent must then guess which BonBon animal they are thinking of. You take turns asking a question that can be answered with "yes" or "no". If you get "no", the turn goes to the opponent. Whoever guesses their opponent's BonBon animal first wins.

Story: All the BonBon animals were at a summer party in Cowboybyen and enjoyed themselves with lots of games and competitions. In the evening they invented Western Duellen, which Rita Reje won superbly.

Buffalo Bon
You can't play with Buffalo Bon, but you can say hello to him if you meet him. He loves to sit on the toilet. I actually sit here most of the time. I'm very happy to be sitting here in Cowboybyen so I can look at all the guests while I do my business.

History: Buffalo Bon has been sitting on the toilet since BonBon-Land opened in 1992, but he has been sitting in an attic.
